Your engaging guide Geoff shares with you his love and passion of the Top End, he brings an extensive knowledge of the wetlands and the magnificent wildlife that share this beautiful country. A small tour group ensures you will have a relaxed personalized tour. 

You will be collected from your Darwin Accommodation and taken on a captivating evening tour of the beautiful Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. This Northern Territory National Park is one of the few places in the world allowing you to take a leisurely drive through the abundant wetlands, full of birdlife and nature. Watch the colours of the landscape change while the sunsets.

Homeward bound we visit an iconic Northern Territory pub, The World Famous Humpty Doo Hotel. Here, you may savour a leisurely meal and refreshments from a local menu offering Barramundi, Buffalo and Crocodile. Sit back and soak in the atmosphere of a genuine 'Territorian' pub experience.

5 hours with full commentary.

Travel in a Mercedes Touring Bus.

Starts at 4pm and ends 9pm.

All NT National Park Permits required are included in your tour price. 

Cold Drinking Water Supplied.

Binoculars available for use. 

Wildlife photography taken of your tour supplied electronically - free of charge.

Picks up and Drops off at Darwin Hotels/Airport/Cruise Ship. * Lots of Luggage space available in vehicle for flights.

Full refund for cancellations up to 24 hours before the tour starts (local time).

* Meal and Refreshments at the Humpty Doo Hotel are at your own expense -  allowing you to choose your own delicious meal from the Hotels extensive Northern Territory menu. 

* Tour is suitable for ages 8 to 108!

* Walking is all on flat pathways - cool casual comfortable shoes are sufficient.

It was a fabulous day Geoff made our trip a very enjoyable experience. His knowledge of Darwin was very informative and most of all it was fun. I would highly recommend doing this tour. One of the best tours I have ever been on. Geoff's knowledge, expertise and kindness make that you don't see the time passing by. He had unparalleled patience when it came to spotting the crocodile he saw the day before, he allowed us to bring back professional photos of the wildlife because of his photographic equipment, gave lots of good advice for visiting the region and its culture. Wonderful experience not to be missed!

This is a new business just started by Geoff and his wife. It’s one of the best wildlife tours I have ever been on - the most amazing creatures in a beautiful peaceful setting with a knowledgeable commentary and a real insight into the local area. The crocodile sighting was unforgettable. The Humpty Doo Hotel is also a great experience of a real Australian pub - just be prepared for enormous portions!

We were so happy & felt so privileged to be part of a friendly group onboard with Geoff as we took the 'Sunset Fogg Dam' tour.

Geoff was so informative, his knowledge of the area as well as the local flora & fauna was fantastic.

We saw such an array of Birdlife, Wallabies, Buffalo & even a Darwin Crocodile.

The tour just kept giving as the sunset across the Lilly pads as we set off towards the famous & iconic 'Humpty Doo Hotel'.

Here we were treated to a great choice of food, generous servings amongst a fabulous atmosphere.

We would highly recommend taking this tour when in Darwin.
